STANDISH, Maine - October 28, 2018 - The Colby-Sawyer women's cross country team finished fourth at Sunday's Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine.

TEAM RESULTS
The Chargers recorded 99 points just behind Saint Joseph's (ME) in third with 97 and Suffolk in second at 94. Emmanuel won the title with 44 points.
Alison Fairbairn led the Chargers on the 5k course with a time of 21:38 to place 14th out of 89. For placing from 8th-14th, Fairbairn earned All-GNAC Second Team accolades.
Hannah Barrett and
Amanda Boyd finished in 20th and 21st, respectively, with times of 22:08 and 22:13.
The fourth Charger to cross the finish line was
Megan Spainhower. She placed 23rd in 22:18.
Bryanna Parker came away with a time of 22:51 to place 26th and round out the top five Colby-Sawyer scorers.

Alley Rogers represented Colby-Sawyer on the All-GNAC Sportsmanship Team. As a team, Colby-Sawyer received the GNAC Institutional Sportsmanship Award.
The Chargers will compete at the NCAA Regional Championship on November 10 at Bowdoin.
