STANDISH, Maine - October 6, 2018 - The Colby-Sawyer women's cross country team placed fourth out of 11 at Saturday's Runnin' Monks Invitational hosted by Saint Joseph's College (Maine).
In a preview of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship race on October 27, the Chargers collected 110 points to finish behind Emmanuel, Southern Maine and the University of New England.
RESULTS
Alison Fairbairn recorded her third top-10 finish of the season to lead Colby-Sawyer in 10th. She finished the 5k course in 21:13.6.
Hannah Giesing and
Megan Spainhower finished simultaneously in 16th and 17th at 21:55.0 and 21:55.6, respectively.
The fourth Charger to cross the finish line was
Hannah Barrett. She placed 34th in 23:24.
Alley Rogers rounded out the top five finishers in 46th with a time of 23:48.8

Abbie Castriotta - 52nd, 24:17.0
Shae-Lyn Walker - 63rd, 25:05.3
Colby-Sawyer will compete at Bowdoin next Saturday.
