SOMERVILLE, Mass. - March 30, 2019 - The Colby-Sawyer women's outdoor track and field team began the spring season on Saturday at the Snowflake Classic hosted by Tufts. 

RESULTS

Shari Rainville recorded a point for the Chargers by finishing eighth in the pole vault with a height of 2.50 meters. 

Amanda Boyd came away with a huge personal best time in the 800-meter run. She was second in her heat and 21st overall, out of 61 competitors, with a time of 2:26.50. 

In the javelin, Katie Clifton posted a personal record distance of 32.90 meters to place ninth out of 35. 

Macy Lapan came away with 13th place in the triple jump after achieving a distance of 9.78 meters. 

Amanda Martin returned to the track and finished 14th out of 34 in the long jump with a mark of 4.77 meters. She also finished 34th in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:04.86. 

The Chargers will compete at Southern New Hampshire next Saturday.
