NEW LONDON, N.H. – January 20, 2020 – Colby-Sawyer junior Jinnae Jang (Fall River, Mass.) earned her second Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Athlete of the Week award of the season.  

In a win over Elms to begin the week, Jang won the 50 breaststroke in a season best time of 34.82. Jang then won the 50 freestyle (26.60) and the 500 freestyle with an impressive new season best time of 5:38.43, taking 10 seconds off her previous best. In a close 5-point loss to UNE, Jang posted several other top swims. Jang's first individual victory of the day came with a win in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 26.56. The junior swam to another first place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a season-best 1:14.39. She concluded her day by taking the top spot of the 200-yard individual medley with a second season-best time of 2:21.23.

The Chargers wrap up the regular season at home on Saturday with a double-dual meet against Gordon and Maine Maritime.
