Name: Marissa Nance
Hometown: Sanford, Maine
Sport: Field Hockey
Major: Nursing
 
What are your plans after graduation?:
My plan after graduation is to become a registered nurse!
 
What is one piece of advice you would give to your freshman self?:
To enjoy the moment - it goes by quick.
 
What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria?:
Omelette bar!
 
If you had to listen to one song on repeat forever, what would it be and why?
Vienna by Billy Joel. Such a vibe.
 
Which CSC faculty or staff member has made the greatest impact on you and why?
Ann Fournier is one of my favorite people at CSC because she gives her heart and soul to her profession and inspires me everyday. I want to be her when I grow up.
 
What one class would you retake just for fun and why?
I would retake our Maternity nursing class because I love seeing babies born.
 
What is the most unique thing about your hometown?
We are right near the ocean.
 
What is something that people may not know about you but should?
My favorite holiday is Halloween!
 
What did you like most about competing at CSC and being a NCAA Division III student-athlete?
I loved making friendships that will last a lifetime (shoutout to Rachel Fisher)
 
Other than the sport(s) you play, what is the other one you'd like to attempt?
I'd like to be good at golf one day.
 
What one professional athlete (past or present) would you like to have a conversation with and why?
Tom Brady ... he's the goat.
 
List three things that appear on your post-CSC bucket list.
My bucket list includes traveling around the world, doing more healthcare based mission trips, and living my best life.
 
What was your most memorable athletic moment at CSC?
My favorite athletic moments where when we were traveling to games and we would get 10 minutes away. We would play our pump up music and hype each other up the reminder of the ride there. The energy in those moments were unmatched.
