NEW LONDON, N.H. – February 27, 2020 – Colby-Sawyer junior Macy Lapan (Dracut, Mass.) will represent the Chargers at Saturday's Division III New England Indoor Championships held at the Virtue Fieldhouse on the campus of Middlebury College.

Lapan will compete in the triple jump at approximately 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Nursing major is in good form after posting great results at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships two weeks ago. She placed second in the triple jump event with a personal best mark of 10.55 meters to earn a spot in this weekend's championship.

Lapan holds Colby-Sawyer's indoor school record in the triple jump at 10.57 meters, which she set on Jan. 19, 2019 at Smith College.
