FRANCONIA, N.H. – This year, the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) Championship was hosted by the University of New Hampshire at Cannon's Mittersill Area.
The Colby-Sawyer Chargers traveled up the mountain and competed in day one of the EISA Carnival -the slalom race. Unfortunately for the Chargers, neither of the teams had qualifying members for the second run.
Finishing with the quickest time (48.56.) in the first run for the men's team was sophomore
Giovanni Lazzari (Mount. Vernon, N.H.). Leading the women with a finishing time of 56.85 was sophomore
Abigail Larrabee (Durham, Calif.).
The team looks forward to tomorrow's race, where the Chargers will take on the giant slalom of the EISA Championships to finish out the 2021-22 alpine skiing season.
