As a junior: Szeliga continued to blossom into one of the programs top players as he led his team in scoring, averaging 17.9 points per game, including a career-high 35 point outburst on November 16, in a win over Johnson State College at the Rivier Tip-Off Tournament. Szeliga earned Tournament MVP and was named to the All-Tournament Team. Along with his ability to score, Szeliga averaged 6.1 rebounds per game. Szeliga ended his junior campaign ranked 6th on the all-time career blocks list with 51. For his outstanding play on the court, he was selected to the 2007-08 N.H. NCAA Division III Men's Basketball First-Team by the Coaches Association. Szeliga was also a Second-Team All-TCCC selection.
As a sophomore: Szeliga started 24 out of his 25 appearances for Coach Foti. He averaged 15.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, including a career-high 58 offensive boards. Szeliga also established career highs in assists (37), blocks (22), and steals (20). Szeliga was named to the 2006-07 N.H. NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Second-Team by the Coaches Association.
As a freshman: Szeliga appeared in all 28 games for the Chargers, averaging 13.6 minutes played. In his first season, he averaged 5.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and recorded 15 blocks. Szeliga shot a career-high 82.1% from the free-throw line, draining 32 of 39 attempts.
Personal: Son of James and Linda Szeliga. Has one older brother, named Drew, who is a member of the UNH cycling team. Majoring in Sport Management with a minor in Communications.
