Summary

Biography

As a senior: Bean played and started all 26 games in the Chargers' run to the NCAA Tournament. He led the team with 32 minutes per game and was second with 32 made three-pointers. Bean also was third on the team with 63 assists. 

As a junior: Bean was the second leading scorer for the Chargers in 2013-14. He averaged 13.1 points in 25 games. He shot a respectable 46.4% from the floor and was second on the team with 40 three-pointers. He also was third on the team with 43 assists, which included a career-high five helpers against Green Mountain on January 21. 

As a sophomore: Zach was third on the team with 9.0 points per game in 26 games played. He poured in a career best 24 points and grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds on Feb. 19 against Thomas College. Zach also was tied for the team lead with 41 made three pointers. 

As a freshman: Zach appeared in 25 games in his first year and averaged just over two points and two rebounds per game. 

At Scarborough: Zach earned three letters in basketball and football for the Red Storm. He was named All-Conference two times in basketball and named Rookie of the Year. He played in the Maine McDonald's Senior All-Star game too. Zach also was All-Conference twice for football.

Personal: Son of Frank and Joanne. Has a sister named Kelsey. Zach is a Sport Management major.
