Colby-Sawyer Athletics

As a senior: Smith garnered All-GNAC Second Team honors for placing 14th at the GNAC Championship to help the team win the title. Smith posted four other top-30 finishes during the season. His best finish was 12th place to help the Chargers win the Runnin' Monks Invitational. Smith was also named to the GNAC Sportsmanship Team. 

As a junior: Smith earned All-NAC First Team honors for finishing in the top-8 at the NAC championship. Smith also represented Colby-Sawyer on the All-NAC Sportsmanship Team. He earned first team honors in 2017 after placing seventh with a time of 27:56.1 to help the Chargers hoist a second-straight conference title. Smith also turned in impressive finishes at UMaine-Farmington in the season opening meet (10th, 18:02.7) and later at Emmanuel (17th, 28:02). The Chargers won the UMF meet and finished second out of 23 at Emmanuel.  

As a sophomore: Smith earned All-NAC Second Team honors after placing 14th at the 2016 NAC Championship. He clocked in at 28:19.3 to help the Chargers claim the program's first conference title. Earlier in the season, Smith placed 33rd at the Keene State Invitational where Colby-Sawyer finished as the runner-up. 

As a freshman: Smith had an impressive first season with the Chargers collecting three top-26 finishes. After starting the season with two straight 18th place finishes, Smith turned in a solid performance with a 26th place finish in 29:17.29 to round out the Chargers' top five at the NAC Championship to help secure a runner-up finish. He earned one NAC Rookie of the Week award.

At Cohoes: Bruin was a member of the cross country, indoor/outdoor track, soccer and baseball teams. He holds school records in the 4x800 (indoor and outdoor), 4x400 indoor and the 2.5 mile. He earned 12 sectional patches and went to the state meet.
