Biography

As a senior: Peloquin was named the 2018 NAC Senior Scholar-Athlete. A Biology major, Peloquin served as a role model in both the classroom and on the court and was acknowledged for his commitment to tennis and to his studies. The senior conducted research on how gene expression can influence reactive oxygen species production and lifespan in yeast cells and presented his findings at the 2018 Eastern New England Biological Conference. A four-year starter on the men's tennis team, Peloquin served as a SAAC representative for the Charger squad. He went 2-0 in NAC singles matches and 3-0 in conference doubles. Peloquin finished his career by earning the Chargers a point in the NCAA First Round against Wilkes with an 8-4 doubles win at No. 3 with teammate Alex Wright. Peloquin moved into a tie for fourth in career doubles wins with 43.

As a junior: Peloquin went 9-9 in doubles action and added a 1-3 singles record in 2016-17. One of his doubles wins was against Division II Franklin Pierce with teammate Ross Kenney. He also teamed with Cass McCann to earn a win against Penn State Berks in the NAC/NEAC Crossover, which sent the Chargers to the NCAA Tournament. 

As a sophomore: Peloquin earned a nod to the All-NAC Doubles First Team after going 3-0 in conference with teammate Gustav Jigrup. The duo picked up a point with an 8-5 win in the NCAA Tournament against Nichols. The tandem also defeated Division II Bentley. Peloquin also went 5-5 in singles, ending the season with five straight victories including a 6-1, 6-2 win over Division II Saint Michael's.  

As a freshman: Peloquin was named to the All-NAC Singles Second Team. Peloquin, a two-time NAC Rookie of the Week, went 3-0 in singles with wins at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3. His biggest singles victory came in the NCAA Tournament against Yeshiva. He won his No. 3 match 6-4, 6-4 to record one of the Chargers' three points in a close loss. Peloquin and Justin Pinard were named to the All-NAC Doubles Second Team after recording a 4-0 record at the No. 2 doubles spot.

At Smithfield: Andrew was first team all-state and won two division I state titles for the Sentinels tennis team.
