As a senior: Fairbairn earned the Wynne Jesser McGrew Scholar-Athlete Award, was a GNAC Woman of the Year nominee, the first cross country student-athlete to be named CoSIDA Academic All-District and garnered GNAC All-Academic honors for the second time. Fairbairn, a team captain, finished 8th at the GNAC Championship to earn All-GNAC Second Team honors and help the Chargers claim their first GNAC conference title. In the season-opening race, held at Colby-Sawyer, Fairbairn finished 6th to help the team win the 2nd Annual Charger Invtiational.
As a junior: Fairbairn garnered All-GNAC Second Team honors for placing 14th at the GNAC Championships. Fairbairn led the Chargers in five of seven races. She turned in a pair of 5th place finishes at the Chargers Invitational and Keene State Invitational to help the team to two second place finishes. She had five top-14 finishes throughout the season. Fairbairn was named to the GNAC All-Academic Team.
As a sophomore: Fairbairn earned All-NAC Second Team honors for the second consecutive year. She was the fourth Charger to finish at the 2017 NAC Championship to help the team claim its fourth-straight conference title. Fairbairn placed 11th with a time of 21:59.1. She was one of four Chargers to compete in all seven races this season. At the opening meet, she posted a 12th place finish at UMaine-Farmington.
As a freshman: Fairbairn competed in all seven of Colby-Sawyer's races in 2016. Her best finish came at the NAC Championship. Fairbairn covered the 5k course in 22:39.3 to place ninth and earn All-NAC Second Team honors, while helping the Chargers secure their third straight conference title. Earlier in the season, Fairbarin placed 15th at the Keene State Invitational to help Colby-Sawyer to a runner-up finish. She also finished 17th at the Emmanuel Saints Invitational where the Chargers placed third out of 18.
At Dover: Fairbairn lettered in cross country and track for the Greenwave. She is a member of the school record holding 4x800 relay team and three meet of champions. Fairbairn is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
