As a senior: Courtney completed her Colby-Sawyer career as one of the top offensive players in Charger history. In 2013 as a middle hitter, she tallied 242 kills and hitting for a career best .273 hitting percentage.Courtney added 49 aces and 52 blocks. She finishes her career with 1,155 kills, making her the fifth Charger to surpass the 1,000 kill milestone. Courtney also ranks fourth all-time in total attempts (3,577), fifth in kills per set (2.58), fifth in total points (1,427.0) and sixth in points per set (3.06). Courtney was named to the All-NAC First Team for the third straight season.
As a junior: Courtney continued to be an offensive leader for the Chargers. Seeing action in 109 sets, Courtney led the team in kills (313), kills per set (2.87), attempts (962), points (373.5) and points per set (3.43). She posted a career-high 21 kills in a five-set win over Montclair State on October 6 and a career-high 18 digs in a four-set win over Emerson on September 22. For her efforts, Courtney was named to the North Atlantic Conference First Team and was named NAC Player of the Week twice.
As a sophomore: Courtney established herself as an offensive force for the Chargers. She posted team highs in kills (383), kills per set (3.17) and attempts (1111). Courtney wrote her name in the single season record books in all three categories as well as her numbers were good for 9th in kills, 6th in attempts and 10th in kills per set. Her best performance of the year was given during the North Atlantic Conference Championship when she posted a career high 17 kills and 11 digs. She was awarded NAC Tournament MVP for her performance. For her stellar year, Courtney was named to the NAC All-Conference First Team and was name NAC Volleyball Player of the Week on four separate occasions.
As a freshman: Courtney saw action in all 125 sets and posted 217 kills which was third highest on the team. Her strong defense earned her 314 digs and her aggressive serving led to 50 aces. Courtney posted her best match of the year at the Colonel Classic Tournament versus Vassar College where she hit .429 with 13 kills and 12 blocks.
At Fitch Senior High School: Courtney was a two-sport athlete at Fitch while playing lacrosse and volleyball. She garnered All-State First Team, All-Eastern Connecticut Conference (ECC) First and Second team and All-ECC Sportsmanship awards. Courtney also was named to the All-ECC First and Second teams in lacrosse throughout her high school career. She also earned high honors in academics.
Personal: Daughter of Patrick and Linda O'Hara. Courtney has two brothers named Mike and Devin. Courtney is a Business Administration major.
