Biography

As a senior: Cavossa started on the mound twice in his three appearances in the shortened 2020 season. 

As a junior: Cavossa started six times on the mound and struck out 29 in 19.1 innings of work to register a season record K/9 mark of 13.50. He struck out 10 batters in five innings against Lesley. The 10 Ks is tied for sixth most in a game. He also started 19 times in 24 appearances as a fielder/hitter. Cavossa was tied for third on the team with 12 RBI.  

As a sophomore: Cavossa started in three of his six appearances on the mound in 2018. He posted 14 strikeouts in 12.1 innings. He also added four hits in 11 at-bats. 

As a freshman: Cavossa made one appearance on the mound and earned a victory after 4.2 innings of work against Daniel Webster. He struck out four Eagles. He also had nine at-bats and recorded a hit and an RBI. 

Personal: Son of Kimberly and Alan. Has a sister named Julia. AJ is a Sport Management major.
