Summary

Biography

As a senior: Clay appeared five times in 2018. He tossed two shutout innings and struck out two in a relief appearance against Lyndon on April 23.  

As a junior: Clay made three appearances and started once. He posted a 1.86 ERA after surrendering just two earned runs in 9.2 innings of work. He struck out four batters. 

As a sophomore: Clay appeared in six games and posted a 1.08 ERA, giving up just one run in 8.1 innings. He added four strike outs.  

As a freshman: Clay started three times on the mound and made six total appearances. He had an ERA of 4.86 in 16.2 innings of work. 

At Hopkinton: Clay was a baseball player for the Hawks. He was a member of the 2012 state championship team. Clay earned the Sportsmanship award in 2010 and was named JV co-MVP. He also was a member of the 2014 Weare Nationals summer team that finished as league runners-up. 

Personal: Son of Ken and Tammy. Has a brother named Jon and a sister named Jess. Andrew is a Media Studies major.
