2026: Young made five appearances out of the bullpen for the Chargers during his junior season, totaling 5.1 innings and recording five strikeouts. Brady delivered his strongest outing on March 16th against WestConn, allowing no earned runs over an inning of work while striking out two in a 23-2 victory. He closed his season by earning his first collegiate win on April 16th against Plymouth State, working a season-high two innings as the Chargers picked up a 24-11 victory. Young also posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage during the season, recording an assist without committing an error.

2025: Young became a reliable option out of the Chargers' bullpen during his sophomore season, making 12 appearances and totaling a career-high 14.2 innings on the mound. Brady finished the year with a career-best 4.30 ERA, 11 strikeouts and his first collegiate save while holding opponents scoreless in nine of his 12 appearances. Young opened the season with back-to-back scoreless outings, highlighted by a career-high three innings at Hobart on March 15th where he allowed just one hit and struck out a career-high three batters. He put together another strong stretch later in the year with six consecutive appearances without allowing an earned run from March 26th through April 29th. Young earned his first collegiate save on April 19th against Albertus Magnus, striking out two in a scoreless inning to secure the victory. He also tossed two scoreless innings at Rivier on April 29th, allowing just one hit while recording a strikeout. Young finished the season with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, recording three assists without committing an error.
